Second settlement of the Goshen Valley in Utah County, settlers moved from Sodom where poor living conditions forced them to move on. Like Sodom, Sandtown didn't last long and the settlers moved once again to Mechanicsville. Site is on private property though you can get near the site at the western end of 140th South north of Goshen City proper. There are no notable remains, everything at the present site is modern.
