Hey everyone! I'm Kyle, AKA SHRDNAR. I'm a new member here, but I might have met a handful of you at a couple Wasatch Cruiser events in the past. I've also had the pleasure of wheeling up Top of the World with @IM1RU, @Maxterra, and @DaveN last year. You'll probably catch me driving around SLC or out on the trails in a 2007 FJ Cruiser or 1996 80 series. I'll spare everyone the lengthy personal intro, but if anyone cares to learn a little more about me you can read my story here.
Looking forward to meeting and wheeling with more of the members here at FYTO and other future trail runs. Cheers!

My name is Jason, my wife of 25 years is Monica. We love to go camping and 4 wheeling. I work for the power company as a Journeman Lineman in Moab, we have lived here for 14 years. I have always checked out expedition utah for the trip reports to find new spots to go camping and wheeling. Recently we went to the expedition utah skills camp. Monica and I had a lot of fun and we leaned some new things. It was great to talk with all the staff. We just got back from a 3 week trip to Baja. I would like to thank Kurt, Dave and Scott for giving me advice for traveling in Baja Mexico we had a great trip.

Hello everyone. Just moved to Utah. I've known Kurt Williams for awhile and he recommended this forum to facilitate getting out there.
Originally from Montana and recently out of Georgia where I was the PR guy for the Southern Four Wheel Drive Association and a lead at my Jeep club. Been dreaming of a move to Utah for years and now I'm here! Looking forward to making new friends.
I just bought a house up near Logan.

Thanks guys. Anything coming up in the near future? Day trip or a meet and greet would be good for me.

We all just walked in the doors from our annual Freeze Your Tail Off event. The next ExpUt official run will be our Ghost Town Tour in the spring. Generally a lot of little trips in between now and then too,

Ghost town tour sounds great. I searched out a few of those in Montana last year.
Been a bit of a dry spell for wheeling. My copilot decided to get pregnant again and our newest addition is due end of next month. We had a couple months we got out after kid 1 was big enough and before the bouncing upset her stomach too much.

Is there a picture thread of that some where?

Ah, I see. Many of our events are only visible to contributing or supporting members. I'm sure a formal trip report will happen too. Folks are still thawing out. This is last year: http://www.expeditionutah.com/forum/index.php?threads/freeze-your-tail-off-9-olafistan.5911
Got it. So there are two forums. Paid and unpaid. That's a little disheartening that I might miss something but at the same time I understand hosting a forum costs money. Well hopefully some event comes up I'm welcome at. I'm all for helping out with the forum but I havent been involved enough to justify it yet.

Yes there is more to the forum. You can pay for the upgrade by clicking your username and selecting Account Upgrades. Or you can contribute to the forum by adding content or many do both. We can not exist without either method. There is a huge amount of information contained in this site and the minds of it's members. We are constantly struggling with the best method to keep the lights on, provide good information to the right people and keep it out of the hands of those who may use it to destroy what is available to us.

Oh I get it. I worked heavily with tread lightly during my time with SFWDA as we were partners. I struggled with how and who to help with info. Forgive me if it sounds like I'm objecting. I'm really not. Just need to see the value first. I've only been on the forum a few hours. I'm sure it'll come.

Well after yesterday with the gang out at the Newfoundland MTNs I figured it was worth it to become a supporter of the forum :)
Ordered a patch kit too.
Can never have enough patches when you're a patch whore like me.
