Standardville Ghost Town on MUTV

1,000 tons of coal a day?! I'd love to step back in time and watch that operation go down.. Too cool. That box car loader system is freaking awesome. Why have I never been to Standardville?

Funny, I ask the question as though someone was supposed to just take me there. I was just on the phone with one of my salesguys that lives and grew up in Carbon County.. He said that he's never been there..

I definately want to check that place out.. Look like some cool photography oportunities.

Yes there are! Up the canyon there are five more abandoned towns with several buildings still standing. Spring Canyon has a lot of history, defiantly worth the time to check out.

Wow, pretty neat video. I live in Carbon County and have been to Standardville/Spring Canyon a couple of times, but it looks like I have some more exploring to do. :)
