ExpeditionUtah.com is a “one-stop” website for any/all vehicle based overland and expedition type trekking in the state of Utah. However, the goal isn't to be limited to vehicle based recreation, rather it will be the focus. For that reason you won't find vehicle tech information nor equipment reviews, that is not our niche.
The site it broken down into five regions, each covering a different portion of the state. Each region will have subcategories, links to town websites, ghost towns, mine sites, historical features off all types, route information, past trip reports, and maps.
Ideally, ExpeditionUtah.com members will contribute their own trip reports, maps, research, etc. to the database. These will in turn help others plan and research their own trips. We are not here to plan trips for others, rather give them some tools to do so themselves. If you don't find a trip report or research article that answers a question you have, start a thread and ask. Your question and the subsequent answers will help the next traveler with similar questions. For this reason we ask that you don't PM or email users for information about their trips unless its details not appropriate for the forum or specifically invited to do so.
Inactive memberships will be deleted after a period of inactivity, this is a dynamic forum and an active membership is the key to its success.
